Central America - Training: Empowering Climate Change Education in the Region
From March 7th to 15th, the Office for Climate Education (OCE) team will carry out an educational mission in Central America, specifically in Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala, as part of the ALEC project (Latin America for Climate Education). This training is designed for primary and secondary school trainers and teachers, with the purpose of strengthening climate change education in the region.
The program will address crucial topics of climate change, such as the greenhouse effect or ocean acidification. It will provide practical tools for addressing these topics in the classroom, through interactive activities, role-playing games, and outdoor activities. Additionally, it will explore the relationship between climate change and emotions, reflecting on how this issue affects us personally and communally.
