For this year's COP27 the OCE hosted and participated in several side-events in the blue and green zone, sharing our efforts to bring quality climate change education to schools and teachers around the world. One of our highlights this year at COP was hosting the second edition of our TeachersCOP. This event, aims to bring the voice of teachers to the heart of the climate negotiations by highlighting their commitment, their ideas, their projects and their practices.

During this global event, simultaneously translated in French, English, Spanish and Arabic, more than 600 teachers from around the world were able to discover and vote for their favorite climate education projects. The 4 selected ones had the opportunity to be present their work at the Science for Climate Action Pavilion at the heart of the blue zone of COP27 in Egypt.
