The OCE takes part to the 3rd UNESCO’s ESD-Net 2030 Learning Webinar
On September 21th 2023, David Wilgenbus, astrophysicist and Executive Director at the OCE and Nicolas Vogt, scientific mediator at the Office for Climate Education (OCE), will present an online workshop entitled “How to implement effective and quality climate change education” ? The workshop is intended for education stakeholders including teachers, head teachers, community-based educators, teachers trainers, youth leaders and academics.
The conference is part of the 3rd webinar organized by the UNESCO as part of the UNESCO Global Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development and the ESD for 2030 Global Network which aim to accelerate the implementation of education for sustainable development (ESD) through knowledge sharing, collaboration, mutual learning, advocacy, monitoring, and evaluation.
The full webinar includes 4 workshops presented on ZOOM by four worldwide organizations the Office for Climate Education (OCE), the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), the Media Development Center (MDC) at Birzeit University, Palestine and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Greece.
