Preparation for COP29: Teacher Training in Azerbaijan

As part of COP29, which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, next November, the Office for Climate Education (OCE) team has been invited by the UNFCCC to co-organize a training session for teachers from around the world from August 5 to 9 in Baku.

The aim of this event is to train young and/or future teachers in various pedagogical approaches related to climate change education. Adeline Aroskay and Amina Maroini, science mediators at OCE, will lead three days of workshops showcasing methods such as inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, as well as the integration of role-playing games and activities focused on emotions in the classroom.

This event is co-organized with UNICEF, UNESCO, FEE, and IRENA.
