Tomorrow's Pioneers
In a future where Earth is devastated by natural disasters caused by human activity, the Neo-Eco-Responsible Agency (NEA) decides to send five pioneers back in time to change the course of history. Their mission: to solve ecological crises before they reach a point of no return!
However, during their time-travel journey, their ship is destroyed by a polluted atmosphere, scattering the essential tools they need for their mission… Will they be able to recover the necessary resources to build a sustainable future?
A Game of Cooperation and Strategy
Tomorrow's Pioneers is a cooperative board game in which each player takes on the role of a neo-pioneer assigned to a crucial mission to build a sustainable future. Together, they must explore different areas of the game board, overcome environmental challenges, and gather essential resources to succeed in their mission. Faced with the impacts of climate change and ecological challenges, players must collaborate, make strategic decisions, and anticipate the consequences of their choices to transform their city into a model of sustainability. Success depends on their ability to manage resources, solve complex problems, and work collectively to prevent a catastrophic future.

Why Use Tomorrow’s Pioneers in the Classroom?
Tomorrow's Pioneers is designed as an immersive educational tool that allows students to explore environmental issues in an engaging and interactive way. It enables them to:
- Develop systemic thinking by understanding the interactions between ecosystems and human actions.
- Experience cooperation and collective decision-making while building a shared vision of a sustainable future.
- Discover concrete solutions for sustainable development and reflect on their implementation.
- Understand the consequences of environmental disasters and the importance of prevention.
How the Game Works
Setup
Each player draws a character card, defining their role and the area of the board where they must complete their mission. The game board is set up with different areas to explore. The object and question cards are shuffled and placed in draw piles.
Gameplay
On their turn, a player rolls the die to move on the board and applies the effect of the space they land on:
- Green space: The player can collect an object by correctly answering a question.
- Pink space: A mission can be completed if the player has the necessary objects.
- Purple space: An unexpected event occurs, making the mission more difficult!
- White space: No event occurs, and the turn passes to the next player.
End of the Game
Collective Objective: When all players have completed their missions and assembled their part of the board, the sustainable city is built, and the game is won!Failure: If players fail to gather the necessary resources in time, the city remains unfinished, and the future is uncertain…
