This workshop has been organized in collaboration with ISTIC and aimed at enhancing the understanding and skills of teachers, trainers or education experts on the subject of climate change. All activities proposed during the workshop followied inquiry-based or project-based pedagogies. The main goal was to give participants some hints on how to teach climate change based on their own and specific local contexts through simple activities that do not require expensive equipment.

35 science teachers, trainers or education experts mainy from Malaysia and Indonesia and a few from small Islands (Fidji, Seychelles). Teachers originated from secondary as well as primary school.
The workshop was designed with two different parts. The first one aimed at providing participants with a solid scientific knowledge, as well as with turnkey activities for teaching climate change in the classroom. Inquiry-based and project-based active pedagogies were also presented and discussed.
The second part of the workshop was led by the participants, which were encouraged to imagine, design and present a class project based on climate change education that they can carry out with their students.
