BELGIUM : The Office for Climate Education (OCE) participate in Climate Change Europe 2024 Wallonia Summit
On February 8th and 9th, the Office for Climate Education (OCE) will take part in the Climate Change Europe 2024 Wallonia Summit, organized by Wallonia and the Climate Chance association at the Palais des Congrès in Liège. This event will bring together over 800 non-state actors, local and European representatives from civil society and institutions.
Centered around the theme "Adaptation to Climate Change, Nature-Based Solutions, and Resilience," the summit aims to culminate in a Liège Declaration. This declaration represents a significant milestone in the work of the Belgian Presidency of the Council for the Environment and Climate.
Djian Sadadou, as the Communication and Community Manager at the OCE, will speak at the event’s Pitch Corner. He will showcase OCE's initiatives in climate change education, its diverse missions and its international projects. The educational resources of OCE will also be introduced.
The event will feature various workshops, conferences, meetings, and plenary sessions. These key moments will highlight concrete solutions aimed at promoting ecological transition and addressing the challenges posed by climate change. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences on this crucial topic.
